My VW Bug

Yesterday I changed windshield, since it got attacked by Storm Of Stones. I thought that it would be more difficult, but it was quite easy job. Had to use old gasket, because I have no money to buy new one. Seems to work fine, but I am going to put silicone around it anyway. I did put some between glass and the gasket. I got that windshield from one VW hobbyist for price of package of coffee! That was great. It even have great Woody Woodpecker sticker on it. At same time I painted floor of the Bug. I used Hammerite paint, which you can apply direct to rust.

Also I took off the seat covers, whose were in bad condition + I did not liked the "teenage tuning" look of those. From beneath the covers, I found quite good looking seats. I think that backseat might be original Bug seat, but I am not sure. That is in good condition.

"New" windshild. At background you see my winter tires. I think that they are back from 70´s, but they work quite well. Only thing is that they are really thin. Therefore not that fun to drive.

I just wanted to prevent moisture & water (comes from shoes anyway) to sucked into floor. Don´t know if this helps.

Teenage Tuning!

RACE!

Maybe original back seat?

Added more flowing air cleaner after winter + summer tires. Fun to drive!

"New" (teenage tuning seat covers removed) interior. Better! Even they have some scratches.
