This is how He looks now...One upper tube welded little bit, but I´ll have to remove it, since I did new axle plates...This is how I work (stupidly). I start something and then notice, that I should have thought more...But that´s the way it is...I build with inspiration, not by planning everything perfect beforehand. Not best or fastest way to work!

It did new axle plates with my disc grinder. Copied model from here: Chopper Axle Plates (Hardtail Axle Plates) and printed it + started to cut on 10mm mild steel. Thanks for model for Travis. Hopefully you don´t feel that I stole your model. I just did not had money to order yours. All honour for design to him.

Grinding started

Almost there. Now have to wait that I get step drill bit to drill holes into these.

Old and new. Quite improvement, I´d say.

Bike got named as "Satan´s Curse". I am quite satisfied with the results, but there is always things (at least for me, my bikes are never ready) you want to change after you get one version on the road. I rode with this summer 2013 and everything worked fine. But still! He went to pieces...to reborn again!

This winter I am going to make new hardtail, since I don´t like the looks of it + new one is going to be thicker material. This is 22mm*2mm and the new one will be 25mm*3mm. I hope that it will also make this more stable to drive.

My Royal Enfield Chopper in progress...AGAIN!

My first blog post. Here is my RE Chopper, which I have been building few years ON/OFF, not all the time. This winter He will have new look again.
